I’m pumped! When I finish writing this post I’m going to do a backflip, in fact. This week we began DENY for the summer of 2012. If you don’t know what DENY is, then you don’t know me very well. It’s training for disciples of Jesus Christ, and I’ve developed it ever since I snatched up the idea from some friends who invested in me some years ago now. It’s been a long process and a cool learning and developing experience for me and many others.
What I’m so pumped about is for the last couple years I’ve put together a booklet to guide the training for any group, anytime, anywhere, and I spent the last solid month almost putting it all together into a new format, writing it, modifying things and making it look cool. I finally have what I’m calling the “Beta Version” completed, and now I’m taking a needed break! *fffwhew!* On top of that, the college ministry I’m in, FHSU Christian Challenge, has TWENTY students going through the training this summer! Awesome, I know!
Go ahead and check out the online version of the booklet (embedded below) and leave some feedback if you’d like. I’d appreciate it! Also, be praying for the students doing this process and myself as I enjoy putting my mind to some other tasks I’m wanting to focus on now as well as helping lead them and my new job I’ve begun (update on that coming soon).
THE DENY BOOK “BETA VERSION”
I’ll soon be setting up a DENY page on my blog as I send this to some people for their thoughts and reviews as I aim to develop a good resource for future use. Hopefully I’ll have that up in the next week or so. If you’d like to be a person who receives a copy and offers their constructive criticism, I’d be honored to add you to my list! Please let me know! Thanks!
UPDATE! This embed has been changed to a preview of the booklet because I will soon asking some specific people to review the full book and give me feedback. If you’d like to be one of these, please let me know! I’d appreciate it!
Thanks for checking it out!
